Dr. Nathan Woodward

Dr. Woodward and his family came to Forsyth in January of 2015, after purchasing the practice of Drs. Ed and A Hammons Schanda.


Dr. Woodward is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he served as class president for four years. He also served on numerous committees and served on many boards. He was chosen by his classmates twice as Student of the Year. Dr. Woodward is a member of the Springfield Dental Society, Missouri Dental Association, Academy of General Dentist, American Association of Cosmetic Dentist and the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics.



Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Woodward received his Bachelors degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Pittsburg State University.  Dentistry is a second career for Dr. Woodward. He previously was a licensed funeral director and embalmer for almost 15 years.

Dr. Woodward and his wife, Sarah, have been married for over 16 years. Sarah is a registered nurse at the Taney County Health Department. They have 3 children- Grant, Emma and Brody.



In his spare time, Dr. Woodward enjoys photography, spending time with his family, and smoking meats. He has won several photography contests and had numerous photographs published. You can see his photographs on display at the office.

Elizabeth

Registered Dental Hygienist

Elizabeth Weaver is a Taney County native. She earned her education at OTC in Springfield. She completed the dental assisting program in 2012 and her dental hygiene degree in 2017. She loves her family and enjoys spending time with them outdoors.

Katie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Katie joined our team in 2018 after earning her dental hygiene degree from Ozarks Technical Community College. She loves to make patients smile and feel comfortable in the dental chair, while providing professional care for her patients. Katie is married and has two boys. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, reading, and loving her children.

Janice

Office Manager

Janice started her dental career as a CDA in 1990 where she assisted for 20 years. In 2010 she moved positions to Office Manager. Janice has been married to her husband, Shawn, for over 30 years. They have one son, Dr. Tyler Mathenia, wife Megan & granddaughter, Wren.

Julie

Dental Assistant

Julie is married with three children and two grandchildren. She grew up in Southern California, but started her career as a dental assistant when she moved to Missouri. Her passions are gardening and enjoying the great Ozarks outdoors.

Sarah

Certified Dental Assistant

Sarah has been in the dental field for 19 yrs. She is Certified with all her expanded functions. Sarah moved to Ozark county 3 yrs ago from Kansas city. She enjoys the lake, riding in the glade top trails and vacationing with her family.

Katrina

CDA/EFDA

Katrina was born and raised in Taney County. She has always been interested in the dental field growing up. She attended Ozarks Technical Community College and graduated from the assisting program in 2023 with expanded function. I love to spend time with my family and going outdoors. 

Lindsey

Dental Assistant

Lindsey is from Branson, Missouri. She graduated from Midwest Technical Institute in January of 2022. The dental field and being able to help others have always been an interest of hers.
